One of the interesting things which i expereinced in HDFC ergo insurance plan during reneual is that they decrease the IDV value of the bike by 20% but same time increase the premium plan by 10%. Also they did not consider No Claim Bonus.

Where as it should be opposite. The premium rate is applied on the IDV. The more the IDV, the more will be the premium of two wheeler insurance premium. As the two wheeler becomes old, the IDV decreases and thus the premium also decrease.

But Based on my personal expeirence – HDFC ERGO – Two Wheeler is not a good and trustworthy options.
